Official opening of —Tom and Apple Rations!
We must have had over 50 visitors during the opening because almost all the beer ran out and we collected $340 from donations!
It was rather unexpected. I was really tired but happy. It was rather surreal opening the space at last and having a very supportive reception by both the school and the public.
That night it also felt like we achieved what we set out to do, to liven up the campus a bit. Everyone was smoking and drinking under the beautiful pink light! It didn’t feel like school anymore. *
*That’s strange because it’s actually how I imagined an art school to be...
